Here are a few of the projects we have had the pleasure in completing.
In 2018, Midwest initiated the revival of Arizona Downs. formerly known as Yavapai Downs, which had been closed for many years. Located in Prescott Valley, AZ, Arizona Downs fresh revitalization is now home again to thoroughbred and quarter horse racing.
In 2017 Midwest completed a substantial renovation of Kentucky Downs in Franklin, Kentucky. This was inclusive of a new design and build porte-cochère with custom LED illumination.
In 2010, Midwest began the renovation of Oklahoma City’s Remington Park Racing and Casino, inclusive of, exterior facility, private luxury suites, private banquet rooms, public dining areas, and public bars. Take a look at some of the features Midwest accomplished at this must-see travel destination in OKC’s Adventure District, also home of Science Museum Oklahoma, the great Oklahoma City Zoo, and USA Softball Hall of Fame Complex.
Chisolm Trail Casino
Midwest Commercial, LLC originally built the Chisolm Trail Casino with an 1800’s Western town facade. Later, Midwest updated the casino with the addition of the tower and swoops of EFIS colors to add a modern appearance. Not seen is the massive amount of red iron with metal studs to accommodate.
Bar-H-Bar Branding Iron & Retail Center
One of Midwest’s latest local projects was the design and build of the Bar-H-Bar Branding Iron Steakhouse with an adjacent 9,000 square foot retail center. Bar-H-Bar Branding Iron opened in June 2019 in Shawnee, Oklahoma.
LifeStyles Nail Salon & Retail Center
LifeStyles Nail Salon and Retail Center is located in the heart of Shawnee, OK accommodates multiple businesses including the over 3,000 square foot luxury LifeStyles Nail and Salon and the largest anchor tenant, Rib Crib BBQ of Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Pam Robinson Real Estate
A long-time client of Midwest bought an old gas station in our neighboring town of Seminole, Oklahoma, which Midwest remodeled into her new real estate offices.
Sheffield’s Prague Pharmacy
Midwest had the opportunity to renovate this 4,300 square foot full-service pharmacy in Prague, Oklahoma to a beautiful user-friendly facility. This company has served Prague since 1977.
Lone Star Park
Midwest completed the renovation of Lonestar Park in Grand Prairie, Texas. This included exterior facility, private luxury and penthouse suites, private banquet rooms, public dining areas, and, visitor’s favorite, Bar & Book where you can view horse racing from all over the world in one location while enjoying good food and drinks. Take a look at some of the features Midwest accomplished at this must-see travel destination in Grand Prairie, TX, just a short drive from AT&T Stadium and Six Flags Over Texas.
Seminole BancFirst Branch
After a fire destroyed the original building, Midwest was happy to help in the rebuild of this local BancFirst Branch in Seminole, Oklahoma.
Midwest had the privilege to design and build the corporate offices for long-time client, Kinslow Group. Midwest also renovated many of the Sonic Drive-Ins throughout the state of Texas for this family owned corporation.
Winstar World Resort & Casino
One of Midwest’s initial projects was the construction of the original Winstar Casino in Thackerville, OK, now the largest casino in Oklahoma, the United States, and at approximately 500,000 square feet it is the second largest in the world. Midwest has coordinated and managed many projects within Winstar World Casino and Resort, inclusive of several of the restaurants, e.g. Chips N Ales, Dairy Queen, New York Dogs, buffet lines, etc. Other projects include the redesign and completion of the casino’s Poker Room in co-operation with ESPN and many additions including a 38,000 square foot BINGO Hall.
Midwest Commercial, LLC assisted this group in upgrading new locations including Remington Park in Oklahoma City and this location in Shawnee, Oklahoma. Midwest also helped with upgrades at the first Bricktown Brewery in the Bricktown District of Oklahoma City.
Midwest was proud to work the pastor and the congregation of Solace Church in the design and build of their church located in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
